Kiran Gaillard discovered her talent for the art of threading while completing her two-year Diploma in Beauty Therapy. An enduring love, Kiran has been practicing the art of threading for the past 30 years in both India and Australia.

Qualified with a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art, Kiran excelled at portrait sketching during her studies. This trained her eye to observe the detail and contour of facial features, a technique which is crucial to the art of threading and a skill which sets Kiran apart as an eyebrow sculptor.

Kiran’s ability to quickly study a face, then efficiently shape eyebrows to suit, not letting a client leave their chair until they have the perfect shape reflects he perfectionist nature and through work ethic. Clients have often remarked that Kiran is very gentle and her threading service is almost pain free, when compared to other salons.

In 2012, Kiran celebrates 13 years in her own business, Belle De Jour, which has grown purely through word-of-mouth recommendation. She offers her clients a professional threading service, within a comfortable and peaceful setting. Kiran has established a loyal clientele, who themselves are often complimented on their very well-sculpted eyebrows.
